Born and raised in Lebanon, the founders moved to New York in 2014, after spending more than a decade living in Paris, where they first met.

Five years later, they realized it was not that easy to procure the necessary ingredients and cook the healthy meals they grew up appreciating at home, which gave them the idea to start this business.

“OFLORALE” stands for “Eau Florale”, which means floral water, like rose water and orange blossom water, used in many Mediterranean recipes and known for their numerous benefits as well as their pleasant fragrances.   

The founders believe in eating well for a better quality of life, and decided to make high quality Lebanese products available to all, at affordable prices, so everybody can learn about their food culture, its history, and enjoy the many benefits of a diet based around those products, whether used in Mediterranean recipes or as healthy alternatives in other dishes.

OFLORALE represents a heritage that the founders decided to grow and share with anybody curious to know more about the Mediterranean food culture and its benefits, and they leverage a strong partnership, more than 20 years old, with local farmers and producers, to source only the highest quality of plant based ingredients at sustainable prices.
